Here is what is happening this weekend.

The 50-end Game
The 50-end game will begin on Saturday at 9am. Claudia Fisher will be delivering the first stone. The game will continue until 9pm on Saturday and restart at 10am on Sunday. At 2pm, the bagpiper will pipe participants onto the ice for the final 2 ends.

If you have already signed up to play, be at the club at least 15 minutes before your scheduled start times. Also, if you have the party spirit, dress in attire appropriate for the years for which you have registered.

There are still a few spots available in the 50-end game - mostly late Saturday afternoon and early Saturday evening. The cost is $20 per 3 ends and all curlers receive a complimentary pin. You can sign up here:

Other On-ice Activities
BGCC teams to play in a friendly bonspiel on Sheets A, B, and C against visiting teams from Mayfield, Cleveland Skating Club, and Circle City CC. There will be 8-end games at 10:30 and 1:30 on Saturday.

On Saturday evening beginning at 5pm, we will have some fun "skills" competitions on Sheets A, B, and C. Bring your curling gear and get in on the action!

Off-ice Activities

Play in the Crokinole Tournament. Beginning at 7pm on Saturday evening, we will play down to crown our first-ever BGCC Crokinole champion. Teams of two are welcome to sign up.

Check out our photos and memorabilia documenting the history of the club in the warm room. Also, join us for History Happy Hour on Sunday from noon to 2pm.

If you have BGCC memorabilia to add to our collection, please bring it then. We'd love to see your old photographs, membership books, flyers, or anything you have from BGCC history. Share your best curling stories with others, and take a moment to write them down while enjoying your beer.

Becky Mancuso will be there to scan your photos and documents, or you may donate your items to the club--we'll take good care of them. Help us build an archive of the BGCC!

Drink, eat, and watch. There will be 50 different beers on sale at the 9th end. We will have lunch and dinner on Saturday and lunch on Sunday. There will be lots of cake.
