Rentals are available November - April when our ice is installed, with a minimum of two weeks lead time*.

Includes:

• 2 hours on the ice for
  • Instruction
  • Practice
  • Game(s)
•  Use of the warm room
• Bartender(s) for duration of the event

Please note: Each sheet can accommodate 8 people max, with 32 people total on-ice at a time.  Minimum of 3 sheets is required for any rental.

Non-Ice Options:

• Warm room Only $100/Hour
• Warm room + Bartender $200/Hour

*Date must be confirmed at least two weeks prior to an event to allow for coordination of volunteers.
**Not all warm room time is guaranteed to be private, depending on scheduled club activities

Step One: Select a date for your event, at least two weeks in the future. 

Step Two: Contact us for booking/any questions. 

Step Three: A Deposit of $100 is required to hold your reservation and will be applied to your balance on the day of your event. Any pre-rental payments are non-refundable for cancellations two weeks or less prior to the event, but we may be able to provide a credit toward a future event if adequate notice is given. You may pay by check, credit card, or PayPal.

FAQ:

I see there are Learn to Curl events for $40, can I just pay $40 per person in attendance? 

Unfortunately, No.  The difference between a private event and a learn to curl is that you control the timing.  If you'd like to pay $40 per person, please keep an eye out on our events registration page for Learn to Curls as they become available. 

Can I rent a single sheet? 

BGCC may offer shared rental dates throughout the season which allows you to rent a single sheet.  If you are requesting a specific date that BGCC has not posted as a shared rental day and would like to rent 1 or 2 sheets, there would still be a three sheet minimum, unless you found another group to help cover one of the other sheets to bring the total cost between the groups to the three sheet minumum.  If you find another group, we are willing to invoice by group.  We will do our best to find a date and time to get your group on the ice.  

Why are there very few weeknights available for rental? 

BGCC has leagues for our members multiple times a night starting as early as 4pm and as late as 8:15pm.  In order to best serve our members, we prioritize having leagues, which sometimes makes it difficult to find an evening slot available for rental.  The best chance for an evening rental during the week occurs during our winter break in league play that typically happens in late December/Early January.

What are the hours of operation? 

The club is run on volunteer power and schedule events as requested and needed.  No specific hours exist.

What do we need to bring? 

Clean athletic shoes are required and warm, flexible clothing is recommended.

What if we have special needs? 

The club has grippers for your shoes to reduce slippage.  Also, we are wheelchair accessible and offer "stick" curling for those who have reduced range of motion. We have helmets available as well.  Those who do not wish to curl are welcome to watch in the warm room.

Can we have our party there? 

We do not serve food but you are welcome to bring in your own.  You many not, however, bring in your own alcohol as it violates our liquor license.

Can we rent sheets without instruction? 

At this time we must instruct any party that comes in.  We do not offer options of renting individual sheets without instruction.

Can kids curl? 

We recommend kids be at least 12 years old to join the private events as young ones have trouble pushing the rocks.

What if we don't know how to curl? 

1 hour of instruction is included in the rental, so you will by the end!

I am a current BGCC member, do I get a discount? 

Current BGCC members can rent the warm room free of charge, however, they must arrange for their own bartender.  Bartenders must be approved by BGCC, assistance can be provided in securing, if needed.  Please inquire with the Club Admin if you are interested in the Basic Ice Rental Package.
