Our first full season at the Black Swamp Curling Center is quickly coming to an end, but we have one more big on-ice event planned - The Curlphobia Clubspiel! The spiel includes 3 6-end games of curling with guaranteed draw times, lunch and dinner on Saturday, and entertainment throughout - including the first ever Groundhogs vs. Ducks race! Best of all, the event is free to members and Starter League curlers. (We do ask for a donation to cover food costs and a general willingness to help out as needed).

We opened this up to our Starter League curlers and have had a great response. There are over 70 Starterl League curlers already registered. But, we haven't forgotten about our members. We have lots of space available in Draw 3 (Friday, April 13 at 8pm, Saturday, April 14 at 2pm, and Sunday, April 15 at 9am) and Draw 4 (Saturday, April 15 at 8am and 4pm, and Sunday, April 15 at 11am). The only stipulation is that teams may have no more than two curlers with more than one year of experience. This will be our final chance to get on the ice until next fall. If your sick of curling, just come and socialize and watch the races on Saturday. Feel free to come dressed as your favorite phobia.
