2022 Early Bird Bonspiel

Join us for Early Bird 2022: The Return of the Early Bird at the Black Swamp Curling Center, September 9-11, 2022!

This is an open format bonspiel with a 3-game guarantee. The cost is $360/team. This includes entry into the reverse raffle for our first-ever worm hunt! Meals on Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday morning are included.

Events at the club include the great worm hunt, a cornhole tournament (weather permitting), and great curling!

Teams will also have the opportunity to sign-up for 9 holes of golf on Saturday morning (cost tbd), and we will schedule your curling around your golf outing. This is also the weekend of Bowling Green's annual Black Swamp Arts Festival, which features art, live music, and a beer garden throughout the weekend. Finally, the BGSU Falcons will have a home football game on Saturday, Sept. 10.

Registration will be limited to 24 teams. Once the bonspiel is full, please join our waiting list. It is very possible that we will need to pull a few teams from the waiting list. If so, we will let you know as soon as possible in the order you join the list.

The Bowling Green Curling Club is the only curling club in Northwest Ohio. We curl at the Black Swamp Curling Center and new members are always welcome! Come on out and enjoy the good people and good times that occur while curling. We embrace all levels of curling from beginners to competitive and we hope to see you on the ice soon.
